Join us on August 13th and 14th, 2016 for the second annual 2nd Star Festival in Florence, OR at The Florence Events Center!! Event includes 2 days and 1 evening of Art, Music, & More! For All Ages!! The underlying theme of our festival is Find Your Creative Spark! There are endless ways to be creative. Find Your Own Spark by sharing creativity with others! Find It And Share It With The World! Our daytime activities include Acoustic Musicians In The Vardo Area of The Tesla Field, Awesome Local and Regional Art, Adult and Kid Workshops, Gaming Booth, Interactive Steampunk Creations, WildCraft CiderWorks Beer Garden, Talks From The Flight Deck (allowing people to share their inspirations of their own Creative Path), and Much More! All within walking distance to the Old Town section of Florence. All within minutes from the Pacific Coast! Festivities begin at 10am on Saturday and go until 6pm. We then break for an hour and a half for patrons to fill their bellies with yummy food from the area’s awesome restaurants in Old Town – which is walking distance from The Florence Events Center!! Then, make sure to get your Airship Cabaret Concert Ticket to ensure a spot at the theater for the 7:30pm performance of Eugene Taiko and The Nathaniel Johnstone Band (including Tempest & Dogwood). You will not want to miss this evening’s performances! Make sure to come back on Sunday from 10am to 6pm to continue where we left off on Saturday! More talks, acoustic music, and more on Sunday!
