The Hawks' Aerie announces their first annual Family-Friendly Festival, Goblin Market, and Forum of the Fantastique! Our motto is: Always Create. Always Encourage. Never Land. It is a festival of art, music, and film. It is a festival dedicated to cultivating and sharing The Creative Spark!! Come join us at The Florence Events Center in Florence, OR on August 8th and 9th, 2015! There will be 2 days and 1 evening filled to the brim with phenomenal Local and Regional Artisans, Workshops, Talks From the Flight Deck, Kids' Activities/Workshops, Puppetry, South Eugene Robotics Team, Steve La Riccia's Interactive Steampunk Art Pieces, Eugene Bhangra Dance Group, Eugene Taiko Drum Ensemble, Daytime Acoustic Musicians, and an amazing Saturday Evening Airship Cabaret (nighttime concert) including Toby Froud's new film, “Lessons Learned.” We will also have several interactive vending booths; such as, Reiki, Massage, Henna, Faery Hair, and Face Painting. Festivities begin at 10am on Saturday and go until 6pm. We then break for an hour and a half for patrons to fill their bellies with yummy food from the area’s awesome restaurants in Old Town – which is walking distance from The Florence Events Center!! Then, make sure to get your Concert Ticket to ensure a spot at the theater for the 7:30pm performance of Faerabella, Tricky Pixie, and Toby Froud (who has also worked on Boxtrolls and Paranorman)! Ages 10 and under get into the daily festival for free! Tickets are only $7 a day for 11 yrs to 17 yrs, $15 a day for 18 yrs to 64 yrs, and $10 for 65 yrs and up. There are also bundle packages that make the weekend more affordable to ensure that you do not miss out on anything! Two types of Family Passes are also available.
