White Christmas

The Shedd Institute is proud and extremely pleased to return for the 3rd time in the past decade to that quintessential holiday classic, Irving Berlin's White Christmas! A heartfelt and warmhearted show filled with 17 great songs by America's finest tunesmith, a positive spirit and rock solid values, White Christmasis a perfect holiday outing for the entire family. Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. The dazzling Irving Berlin score is packed full of timeless standards, including "Blue Skies", "I Love A Piano", "How Deep Is the Ocean", "Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep", "Snow", and, of course, "White Christmas". If you've seen this fine stage adaptation of Irving Berlin's 1954 movie before, you know you won't be able to stay away! If you haven't, well, it's certainly about time!
