August 30, 2015- As part of our Harvest Festival celebration, we are hosting our Third Annual 5K trail-run and a 5K trail-walk followed by a berry-topped pancake feed & day of fun on the farm! This event BENEFITS THE STRUBLE FOUNDATION FOR HEART RESEARCH at OHSU! This season, our goal is to raise $100,000 for The Struble Foundation, which could potentially translate into a $5,000,000 grant for heart research. We are hosting these events to promote responsible, organic, and green living practices as a way of life, while helping our community get back in touch with nature and promote heart health through positive lifestyle adjustments, and most importantly to raise money to help prevent heart disease before an infant is born.
