A Night For Sight 2015 Benefit Concert

The 3rd annual, no-holds-barred benefit concert for the World Vision missions of longtime friend, philanthropist, and world health activist Dr. John Haines will be a Rotating Carnival of over 20 musicians and six bands in each set with Strange Desserts, Concrete Loveseat, The Sugar Beets, CaraVan and Bindass, plus spotlight performances from Paul Biondi, Cynthia Valentine, Austin Chevalier, Jenny Getty and Scotty Perey. Some 'spotlight performance' will be solo, while others will call upon any musicians that they wish to play with them in combinations large or small. In fact, in the spirit of building community and working together for a beautiful goal of giving eyesight to people overseas with curable blindness, there can be unforgettable cameo appearances and guest musicians with all the different bands! The Jaqua Concert Hall will be The Shedd's renowned elegant, relaxed cabaret formation with a bar in the Tykeson Lobby as well as a silent dessert auction. With plenty of breaks and opportunities to mull around, bid on a dessert, chat with friends, it will be a night to remember! The concert is preceded by "A Night For Sight" Benefit Gala Dinner, which includes a concert ticket and a DVD of last years concert in the price (see Associate Events below right).
