Portland-based educational series ‘The Digits’ is holding a live reading at OMSI on August 9th to debut their pilot episode for a new TV show on PBS. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a question and answer session and meet the characters from the intergalactic rock band! The Digits is an interactive web series that can currently be found online, via Skype chats, and mobile apps. The series uses teacher-approved content to teach kids about math and science through the story of a group of lovable space-cadets battling an evil corporation to save the galaxy from stupidity. Staged readings of the first episode will take place on August 9th at 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 5:00 pm at OMSI in the auditorium.
