On April 22-23rd, from 10am to 5pm, Singing Creek Educational Center (SCEC) will host the Green Living Fair in Cottage Grove at the Armory Building (628 E Washington Ave, Cottage Grove, OR 97424). There is a requested $2 entry fee though no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Come learn all about how to live sustainably with over 30 local vendors and service providers. Learn about native plant gardening, fiber arts, recycling, local farms, sustainably produced products for your home, your pets, and yourselves and so much more! A youth poster and digital art show will be on display based on the theme “Save the Earth”. There will be a silent auction to benefit SCEC and its work to provide quality, educational history programs to the youth of Lane County. “This is a great way to celebrate Earth Day for the whole family”, says Karen Rainsong, Executive Director of SCEC.
