Please join us for the August LCMGA Seminar! “Growing Fruit Trees in the Willamette Valley” August 16th, 6:30-7:30 pm Seminar Description: Growing tree fruits in the home garden can be a fruitful endeavor, but one that comes with a few challenges. This webinar will focus on fruit trees that are best suited for the Willamette Valley and provide management tips to help you keep your fruit trees healthy and productive. Speaker Bio: Erica Chernoh is an Assistant Professor of Practice at Oregon State University in the department of Horticulture and based out of the OSU Extension office in Lane County. Her main focus is on organic and conventional production systems of hazelnuts, tree fruits, berries, and small fruits. She works with a variety of stakeholders, serving the needs of commercial farmers in the south Willamette Valley, and oversees the Master Gardener program in Lane County.
