Explore from Home: DNA—Cracking the Code!

The Museum of Natural and Cultural History’s Explore from Home/Explora desde casa programs offer online museum adventures for the whole family—featuring hands-on science and culture activities, crafts, games, and more! Varying in length from 15 to 60 minutes, there are activities for children of all ages.

Our next Explore from Home adventure begins Monday, February 1, with DNA—Cracking the Code! DNA is the code behind all of life on Earth. Join us online and explore how this code helps animals thrive in their diverse habitats. We'll look at animals' adaptations, extract DNA from an onion, and create code for our very own imaginary critters!

This program is made possible with support from the University of Oregon’s Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics.
