A Mind-Full of Circus Arts Magnificence!

A week-long summer camp for kids in K-8th grade set on 2.8 acres just outside of Eugene. Through the FARM STEAM framework, campers interact with the environment, small animals, and technology while learning about themselves and the power of nature.

This Summer Break camp provides kindergarten through 8th grade-aged children the space to explore a range of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics activities on a small, permaculture-focused farm.  Lead by a licensed teacher and located on a 2.8-acre farm on a peaceful edge of Eugene, Mind-Full Meadows FARM STEAM Camps offer something for everyone.

->A Mind-Full of Circus Arts Magnificence includes ample opportunities to interact with the animals and nature of Mind-Full Meadows. We have chickens, including Silkies, rabbits, ducks, Muscovies, goats, and puppies. The framework of these fun-filled learning experiences is: Farming Practices Animal Care Responsible Choices Making Things Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics.

This camp is a week filled with the strength, silliness, and flexibility, all wrapped in stripes. From costume design and making handstand blocks to core anatomy and brownie dens, this camp will immerse you in many facets of the circus arts. Campers look at the anatomy and balance of goats, make their own healthy snacks, do circus mat multiplication, and practice aspects of hand balancing! We will explore momentum and force as we design a virtual aerial rig, and learn how to use rhythm ribbons and juggling blocks. Campers will explore augmented reality (AR) through the use of Merge Cubes, and the applications Explorer and Things! Rounding things out with specialized instruction in juggling, poi spinning, hula hooping, inversions, and balancing, campers will have many skills they can choose to share in our final event, The One Ring Human Circus!

Camps run from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. -> All materials provided. -> Student can use their own compatible tablet or smartphone if desired. (see details)

$200 for the full week, M-F. Camp exceeds 2020 Oregon Health Authority guidelines for school-aged summer day camps, offering open-air classrooms, plenty of space between learning campers, and "science screens" (face shields) available for all at camp, and used by all when indoors.

Camp leader and facilitator, Tiffany Jeanette, is a certified teacher with a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree and Principal License as well as a current valid criminal background check and Youth 1st Aid and CPR certification.
