A summer celebration of composers and artists from Eugene, Oregon featuring Delgani String Quartet

Performing works by Eugene-based composers, the Delgani String Quartet celebrates the start of its fifth anniversary season through collaboration with some of the area’s most celebrated composers and vocalists.

Rickie Birran from Man of Words Theatre brings Robert Browning's Pied Piper of Hamelin to life with music by Paul Safar. Siri Vik sings the poetry of Sara Teasdale, Federico García Lorca, and W. B. Yeats set for voice and string quartet by John Lundblade. Laura Wayte and Gretchen Farrar premier Anice Thigpen's What Death Can Touch with visuals by Lillian Almeida and Sunny Selby.

Rounding out the program are works for string quartet alone by Eugene-based composers Terry McQuilkin, Andrew Lewinter, and David Sprung.

Join us for an evening of new music, art, and collaboration on the Wildish Theater stage.
