Family Draw

Scientific Illustration with Kris Kirkeby

Science meets art at the Museum of Natural and Cultural History. Bring your budding birder to the museum for a tour of our newest exhibit, Peregrine Falcon: From Endangered Species to Urban Bird, and together you'll discover ways to observe birds in the world around us. Artist Kris Kirkeby will then teach you and your child basic drawing and color-layering techniques, and you'll both fly away with your own bird drawings! Cosponsored by the Lane County Audubon Society.

Cost is $30 for museum members, $40 for the public. Registration includes one adult and one child. An additional person is $15 for members and $20 for the public. Space is limited and preregistration is required. Visit https://mnch.uoregon.edu/learn/family-draw to learn more or to register.
