Nearby Nature believes that healthy kids and families should have opportunities to connect with nature from the VERY beginning! Green Start Play Days provide a perfect forum for you and your little ones (through age five) to enjoy outdoor play and discovery in an engaging, safe, and beautiful environment — our Learnscape Garden and Outdoor Classroom.

Green Start Play Days happen on the second Tuesday of each month from 10 am-11:30 am (before naps!), outdoors, rain or shine. You and your young one(s) will enjoy unstructured (but supervised and safe) nature play, games, simple crafts, storytelling, and garden goodie sampling (when things are growing).

Each event has a different theme, but in truth, we let the kidlets lead the way! If we find a cool bug, it’s BUG DAY! If the birds are singing, we sing along.

Green Start Play Days are FREE for members and $5/family for non-members.
