Overcome Benefit Concert

"Adopting one child won't change the world: but for that child, the world will change." The dancers of All That! Dance Company present “Overcome” - a benefit dance concert celebrating the ability to overcome anything that life may put in your path. Themes of hope, love, and community will be woven throughout the concert. An ensemble of eight young woman will take the stage and weave beautiful movement and elegant lifts in to a story about being more than anyone thought you could in their piece "Golden." Ten year old dancer, Emilia Shipley, will perform a solo to an original score with spoken word based on her experience as the sister to many foster siblings. Thirty high school dancers will flood the stage with energy and passion set to the song "This is Me" from the new hit movie The Greatest Showman to encourage each child to embrace who they are inside. This concert will fill your cup and leave you moved and inspired. ATD is partnering with a Family For Every Child - an organization dedicated to finding loving, permanent families for every waiting foster child. Currently 430,000 children are in foster care in the United States, which includes 10,000 children in the State of Oregon and 1,000 children in foster care in Lane County alone. All monies raised from this concert will directly benefit this organization and their mission to place these children in forever homes. If you are unable to attend the concert, but would still like to contribute to A Family for Every Child, please consider giving a direct donation: https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/affec
