Next Aloha Friday is November 17 at Whirled Pies, 199 W. 8th in Eugene. Social Hour, 5:00-6:00 pm: Pre-show music is by Steve Yungen from Ashland, plus Hawaiian food by Everyday Kine Grindz, pizza and libations by Whirled Pies, and Hawaiian print gift items by Sheila Fleming. Main Show, 6:00-8:00 pm: Eugene's own hula school Nā Pua O Hawai'i Nei will stage a full scale hula show with all classes dancing, from young kids to senior citizens. Plus a Christmas hula, possibly a guest hula by world-class dancer Kelsey Galago, and a short documentary on Master Lei Makers. The event is free, but donations are appreciated. Aloha!
