Chef's Cinema: Chocolat

One taste is all it takes.

Welcome to Enlightened Theatrics’ More-Than-A-Movie Series! Chef’s Cinema presents the best of pop culture-foodie films, paired with an optional post-show discussion/Q&A and Chocolate Truffle pairing by Paradiso’s own Chef Robert Durkin. One taste is all it takes. Moral rigidity and terminal stagnation in a small French village are given a delightful shake up, when a beautiful and beguiling chocolatier (Juliette Binoche) arrives on a mysterious wind and opens shop, across the street from the village church, during Lent. Through understanding and acceptance of each other’s cultural differences, the townspeople learn more about themselves and the importance of community. Released 2001. Rated PG-13. 121 minutes Chocolat Sunday, February 12 • 3pm Salem’s Historic Grand Theatre $25 Chef’s Cinema Package (includes discussion & pairing) $7 Screening Only General Admission
