Description

Celebrate the cultural diversity and influence of night markets in Asia right here in downtown Eugene.  In recognition of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage (AAPI) Month, the 5th annual “Asian Night Market” returns on Friday, May 22nd, with a colorful evening of cultural performances, savory Asian street foods, youth activities, and a lively marketplace at the Eugene Farmers Market Pavilion & outdoor plaza from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Admission is free for all ages.

“Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month provides an opportunity to celebrate the contributions and diversity of the AAPI in our community,” says Event Director David Tam. “It’s an opportunity to share our heritage as integral to the fabric of the broader community. We encourage people to bring their family and friends for a fun Friday evening of Asian cultural heritage.”

The event is produced by the Asian American Council of Oregon.  For event details, visit the asiancouncil.org.
