Oregon Family Magazine is seeking an Advertising Account Executive for the greater Lane County area. This is a full-time or part-time/contract employee (1099), work from home position which offers flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to earn competitive income. Responsibilities include: All facets of selling print, web, and social media advertising to local and national advertising prospects. Includes all account management responsibilities, client relations, and customer service functions related to account management including sales and prospect reporting.

Account Executive will report directly to the Owner/Publisher, and will manage client relations from lead, sale, transaction, account servicing, and renewals. Experience interacting with business owners, media reps, advertising agencies, upper management, and corporate level management is required. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, and have a strong desire to succeed. Applicants should possess the following attributes, experience, and skills: Minimum 2-years Advertising/Media Sales experience and 1-year previous work experience in remote environment. Excellent time management skills, a flexible work schedule, excellent customer retention skills, strong negotiation skills, knowledge of graphic design/desktop publishing, relevant experience with social media concepts and sales, knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google, experience using contact management software, and ability to work autonomously.

Compensation is commission only, and will be front-loaded during first 6 months to facilitate establishing your pipeline. This position is best suited as ancillary income or to increase existing household income. Position can be either part time or full time, but no less than 15-20 hours per week for success. Pay will fluctuate based on monthly contracts and will increase as pipeline increases with residuals. Income can be lucrative with time and attention.
