Description:

A tap-dancing, lighthearted musical comedy set in the stylish and vivacious 1920s, No, No, Nanette is refreshing, silly, and thoroughly uplifting! It tells the story of Jimmy Smith and his adopted daughter, Nanette and all the trouble they get into and out of on a summer weekend. The score by Vincent Youmans and Otto Harburg includes two of the most famous show tunes ever written--"Tea for Two" and "I Want to Be Happy"--along with a host of other delights, including "Too Many Rings Around Rosie" and "You Can Dance With Any Girl", "Telephone Girlie", "Where's My Hubby Gone Blues", and "Peach On The Beach".

Written in 1925, at the heart of The Jazz Age, No No Nanette's delightful inconsequentiality is reflected in its toe-tapping music from the wild era of sheiks, flappers, plenty of money, urbane humor, and good old oh-so-slightly-saucy fun!
