A Gathering of Student 'Ukulele Groups

Catch talented young ukulele players on Saturday, May 14th at the seventh annual UKE JAM, a gathering of student uke groups from area schools. Elementary through high school students from seven schools will show off their talents in a series of short sets. Between sets there will be solo songs by outstanding young players. Participating schools are: Coburg Community Charter School, Opal Community Arts Center in Cottage Grove, North Eugene High, Crow School, St. Paul Parish School, Adams Elementary, and Ridgeline Montessori. The show will be emceed by local actress Kim Donahey. UKE JAM is Saturday, May 14, 4:30-7:00 pm, at Cozmic, 8th & Charnelton in downtown Eugene. It's sponsored by Aloha Friday, Pacific Winds Music, and Mele 'Ohana. The event is free and all are welcome. Donations will be accepted to support sponsor programs.
