Free Class: Caring for Aging Loved Ones – Legal and Financial Planning for Alzheimer’s

On Wednesday, April 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Oregon Care Partners is hosting a free, instructor-led class in Springfield titled “Legal and Financial Planning for Alzheimer’s” that’s designed to help Oregonians who provide care to someone with Alzheimer’s learn about legal planning and strategies for a long-term plan of care. This 1.5-hour class is free of charge, thanks to funding from the State of Oregon and partnerships with trusted non-profits including the Alzheimer’s Association and Oregon Health Care Association. The class is designed to help Oregonians who care for someone with Alzheimer’s create legal and financial plans, and learn about assistance programs that can simplify the process. A professional instructor will share real-world experience in an interactive classroom environment. This class is free, thanks to funding by the State of Oregon. This class is designed for anyone who cares for an aging Oregonian, particularly those caring for someone with Alzheimer’s. Individuals that provide care for an aging family member or loved one, as well as those who work in professional caregiver settings, public safety or social work, are invited to attend this free class.
