ART for ALL Celebrates ASPCA Help A Horse Day

Free Family Fun

Animal Rescue Teaching for Any Level of Learner will be taking part in the national celebration of ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) Help A Horse Day on April 22-24 and competing for a chance to win up to $25,000 in grant prizes to assist with our efforts to protect horses. To celebrate the day, ART for ALL will be hosting a Field Day Open House at our farm located approximately 15 minutes from Eugene, OR at 85671 Chezem Road. This is a free family event open to the community on Sunday April 24, 2016 from noon to 4:00 p.m. We invite all to join us for an afternoon of pony rides, arts and crafts, and outdoor fun. This is a great opportunity to learn about our organization, meet our animals, and participate in the kick-off of our Silent Online Auction. This nationwide competition is for equine rescues and sanctuaries to raise awareness about the lifesaving work they do year-round to care for at-risk horses in their community who have often been abused or neglected. Horses have been central to the ASPCA’s work since its founding 150 years ago, when Henry Bergh stopped a cart driver from beating his horse, resulting in the first successful arrest for the mistreatment of a horse on April 26, 1866. The mission of ART for ALL is to rescue and rehabilitate animals using them for education of people young and old. Our organization was created out of our love and respect for animals, children, and art.
