The Village School families invite you and your family to "The Heart of the Village Celebration", a community event showcasing the Village School's creative environment that enfolds music, arts & crafts, and hands-on skills while learning! We are also excited to share our tasty foods from the Village Kitchen's organic menu. The event includes Puppet Shows, Valentine Making, Silk Batik making, Marimba, Music Performances, Bake Sales, Cake Walks, Improv Theater, Story Telling, Chinese Dragon Parade, Raffle Baskets and Food! The Village School is a holistic, arts-integrated K-8 elementary and middle school that was founded in 2000 as one of Oregon's first charter schools. The Village School provides a program that fully integrates the arts within an academic curriculum, educating the whole child~head, heart and hands.
