The Emerald City Jazz Kings: "Sentimental Journey"

Our final installment in this three-part series will examine the last four years of the Swing Era, 1943 thru '46. Expect even more hits from the likes of Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Jimmy Dorsey, Harry James, and Bing Crosby. In addition to those, our show will also include songs from Judy Garland, Les Brown, Doris Day, Tommy Dorsey, Peggy Lee, and Nat King Cole. Here are a few of the songs you should look forward to hearing: "Why Don’t You Do Right?", "Leap Frog", "Perdido", "I've Heard That Song Before", "I Had the Craziest Dream", "Don't Get Around Much Anymore", "Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart", "Besame Mucho", "You'll Never Know", "Sentimental Journey, "On the Atchison, Topeka & the Santa Fe", "Opus One", and "Aren't You Glad You're You?" among many others.
