Since 1957, we have provided a cooperative, play-based learning environment for children ages 2 to 5. Parents at EPCP want to take an active role in their children's education and are involved in all aspects of running the preschool. Every spring for 56 years, Eugene's Parent-Child Preschool has produced and performed a children's theater day. Each year the parents of EPCP write, direct, produce, act, and organize a fun, family event for local children and their families to attend. This year EPCP is producing Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat! In addition to the play, games, refreshments, and the silent auction extravaganza will be happening simultaneously. Tons of items ranging from gift certificates, lessons, gift baskets, and much, much more. This year’s auction includes Disneyland passes, overnight stay and gaming for two at Mill Casino, and a hot air balloon ride. Preschool classrooms and teachers will also be open and on hand to welcome little ones and families to get to know the school. Open enrollment for the 2014–2015 school year begins on March 15th. All proceeds to EPCP's big theater day and silent auction event go directly to support the operations of the preschool.
