McKenzie Montessori Institute's Easter Egg Hunt For Knowledge

At our 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Knowledge we plan to shift the focus for children from the collection of candy, to the joy of learning! We will feature fun and educational activities at the event such as the find the letter sensory table, and the Easter Bunny left right game. Our event will showcase books and educational toys as the main prizes children can obtain by collecting eggs. Along with the hunt, families can participate in a variety of Easter themed activities and crafts, face painting, music, a breakfast goods bake sale, and a silent auction filled with wonderful items for people of all ages. The hunt will take place April 12th from 9:30-11:30 at McKenzie Montessori Institute, 4181 E St. Springfield, Oregon 97478. The egg hunt will be free for all families. Other activities will cost fifty cents each, with unlimited activities for five dollars per participant. This event will not only provide families with an environment that fosters a love of learning, the proceeds from the event will go directly to continue and expand our need-based scholarship program which helps us to serve many children in need throughout Lane County.
