Second Saturdays at the Museum
Science and Culture Adventures for Families
Join us on the second Saturday of the month and dig into activities that will spark your child's curiosity about our past, present, and future. October's Second Saturday is all about Oregon's civil rights era. Through crafts and other hands-on activities, we'll explore the history of racial justice and civil rights advocacy at the University of Oregon and in Lane County during the 1960s and 70s.
A drop-in event, Second Saturday is perfect for children ages three and up with an accompanying adult. October's Second Saturday is FREE in honor of the grand opening of the new exhibit Racing to Change: Oregon's Civil Rights Years—The Eugene Story.
