Each session of Camp Wilani’s summer schedule features a special event that campers can choose to participate in. This week’s offering is Night Owls! A special sub-session for 11-17 year old campers with a Star Party by the Eugene Astronomical Society! Regular camp will still be in session, but if campers sign up for Night Owls, they stay up later, sleep later, and have special night activities.

This camp session will be held from June 23rd - June 28th.

Campers ages 6-17 will have a transformative experience sleeping in cozy cabins, learning leadership, exploring nature, and participating in a variety of fun activities while making new friends! Our resident camp sessions include all program activities plus delicious, healthy, kid-friendly meals. We accommodate regular, gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan diets.

Campers 5-17 can have a transformative, positive, and memorable experience at our flagship summer resident camp program. Camp Wilani at Havenroot is held at the historic location in Veneta, Oregon which is owned and stewarded by Ecotone Projects, LLC. We are thrilled about our partnership with this eco-conscious organization that is well aligned with our mission and values.

At its heart, the Camp Wilani Program is about immersing young people in a caring, inclusive environment in which each child can safely push their boundaries, create lasting friendships, disconnect from electronics and be immersed in nature. We recruit, hire, and comprehensively train adult staff people to be exemplary facilitators of a healthy and positive experience for all of our campers. Every staff person is rigorously interviewed, reference checked, and is required to have an FBI criminal background check.
