Horse Riding Day at Animal Rescue Teaching

Let's learn all about how important horses were to the pioneers and settlers in Oregon, make some horse themed art and play games, then saddle up for a wonderful riding lesson! Trained and patient instructors will help you learn about holding the reins, giving commands to your horse, and horsemanship. The horse riding area is a covered arena. We'll be doing a horse word search, play pin the tail on the horse, make your own horse out of colored salt dough. Get your picture taken with your pioneer horse for the day, and show us your pioneer spirit!
