On April 8th the Emerald City Junior Gems very own Modified Contact team will be going up against the Rose City Rose Petals from Portland. Modified contact is just like adult roller derby only you won’t see these kids hip checking each other. You are going to see amazing positional blocking, fantastic jammer skills, and the same strategy that you see in adult derby. So come support and cheer on these 10 to 17 year olds in their last hoorah of the season.
