An Acoustic Evening with Edna Vazquez feat. Mireya Ramos
A night of mariachi like you've never seen before.
It’s a night of non-stop emotion and exposure as Portland’s Edna Vazquez takes to the Grand Theatre stage with a special Mariachi twist. Backed by her band and special guest Mireya Ramos (founder and violinist of New York City’s Grammy nominated Flor de Toloache – as seen on tour with Dan Auerbach’s The Arcs), Vazquez returns to Salem for an intimate evening of acoustic music from across her career including original songs composed for Mariachi.
Edna Vazquez is a Portland-based, openly gay, Latin American singer/songwriter who performs original compositions that pay homage to her international influences with a passion that comes through in every note of her music. Vazquez’s songs are deeply rooted in in universal human emotion providing a message of light, love and cultural healing. Her ability to lift the spirits and touch the hearts of each and every audience member is an experience one must see for themselves.
