Graphic Novels & You

Calling all girls who love graphic novels, empowered female characters, storytelling, or all three! In this workshop, you will read excerpts from graphic novels written by women and learn basic terms and strategies useful for graphic novel reading/writing. You will also brainstorm and create your own graphic novel or personal stories with words and/or drawings! Facilitated by OP volunteers and interns. Advance registration is required. Spots are limited. Registration deadline is 1/9. Girls ages 14-18.
