Engineer It! Architecture and the First Oregonians

For students in grades 3-5 Shelter is a basic human need—and a design challenge. Ancient Native Americans used local, natural resources to build homes that met the unique needs of their communities. Explore the architecture of these early homes, and delve into a variety of engineering challenges. The participation fee is $40 (with a 10% discount for MNCH members). Space is limited to 16 participants, and preregistration is required. Visit natural-history.uoregon.edu to register or to learn more.
