On Friday, December 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Oregon Care Partners will host a free, instructor-led class in Eugene titled “Living with Alzheimer's for Caregivers – Late Stage” designed to help anyone who cares for an aging Oregonian learn more about stage progression and how to provide safe, effective care for individuals with late stage Alzheimer’s. This 2 1/2-hour class is free of charge, thanks to funding from the state of Oregon and partnerships with trusted non-profits including the Alzheimer’s Association and Oregon Health Care Association. The class is designed to help anyone who cares for an aging Oregonian better understand symptoms of late stage Alzheimer’s, and learn how to connect with individuals affected by the disease. A professional instructor will share real-world experience in an interactive classroom environment. This class is free, thanks to funding by the State of Oregon.
