Aloha Friday

This month's Aloha Friday features Eugene hula school Nā Pua O Hawai'i Nei, with all classes dancing, from young kids to senior citizens. There will even be a couple of Christmas hulas. Plus a slide show and talk by Kelsey Galago, who was a soloist at the Merrie Monarch Festival, the top hula competition in the world. The show is Friday, Nov. 18, 6:00-7:45 pm, at Whirled Pies Downtown (Cozmic), 199 W. 8th in Eugene. The show is preceded by a lively social hour, 5:00-6:00 pm, with music by Steve Yungen from Ashland; Hawaiian food by Everyday Kine Grindz; pizza & drinks by Whirled Pies; and a crafts table featuring Hawaiian print gift items by Sheila Fleming. The show is free, but donations are appreciated. Aloha!
