Herb Alpert and Lani Hall

Herb Alpert and Lani Hall infuse an eclectic blend of jazz, world and American pop standards with their unique sound. Performing together since 2006, each half of this husband-and-wife duo brings an impressive musical background to the table: Alpert’s accomplishments include five number one hits, 28 albums on the Billboard charts and eight Grammys; while Hall is a Grammy-winning vocalist who was the original lead singer for Sergio Mendes’ Brasil ’66. A legendary trumpet player, Herb Alpert's extraordinary musicianship has earned him five #1 hits, nine Grammy Awards, 15 Gold albums, and over 72 million records sold. Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass propelled his sound into the pop music limelight with hits such as "A Taste of Honey," "What Now My Love," and "This Guy's In Love With You." With more than 40 years of continuous philanthropic, musical and artistic activity, Alpert has established a legacy that reflects his firm belief that the arts can make a difference in the world. Alpert's new album Human Nature finds the iconic musician delving into dance grooves and elements of electronic music in a way he has never done before. The new album, his fourth release in just three years, is out September 30 and features five original compositions as well as Herb's signature reimagining of classics like Michael Jackson's "Human Nature" and Burt Bacharach's "Don't Go Breaking My Heart."
